Florette Launches New ‘Superfood – Immune Support’ Salad

Florette, the No. 1 brand in the UK’s leafy prepared salads market is launching a brand new ‘superfood’ salad.

The wild rocket and baby kale mix has been developed to promote the  health benefits of ingredients that are naturally high in folate, vitamins A and K, and offer a good source of vitamin C.

Nick White, Head of Marketing at Florette UK, said: “Health is a key consideration for shoppers and has been for some time. Though COVID-19 restrictions have lifted, it has resulted in a heightened consumer awareness of health and immunity. These ingredients are a natural way to support your immune system.”

Florette says that their new ‘superfood’ salad also meets a demand from their customers for more ‘holistic’ foods. “We’ve seen a definite move from calorie control to active health, with consumers opting for a more varied and natural diet,” said Mr. White.

The new ‘superfood – Immune Support’ pack will make its debut in Sainsbury’s and Ocado and follows the success of the Lichfield-based company’s Rainbow Crunchy salad in 2021. The pack has become one of Florette’s best-selling products in just 12 months, with 2p from every pack sold going to NHS Charities Together.
