Classic Crispy

Ingredients

Serves: 4

    • 1 bag of Florette Crispy salad
    • 450g The Tofoo Co. Naked Organic Tofu 450g
    • 3 tbsp cornflour
    • ½ tsp garlic granules
    • ½ tsp smoked paprika
    • ½ tsp fine sea salt
    • ½ tsp ground black pepper
    • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Method

  1. Drain the tofu and sit on some kitchen roll for 20 mins to drain the excess moisture.
  2. Mix the cornflour, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Cut the tofu in strips around 1cm thick.
  4. Toss in the spiced cornflour to coat all over.
  5. Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over a medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the tofu strips for 4-6mins, turning regularly until crispy and browned on all edges.
  7. Drain on kitchen paper and season before serving on a bed of crispy salad with your fave vegan mayo and pomegranate seeds.
