Korean Gochujang

Ingredients

4 Cauldron Vegetarian Sausages

1 tub Florette Korean coleslaw

4 St Pierre brioche hot dog rolls

1 tbsp gochujang paste

1 tbsp tomato ketchup

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp light soy sauce

1 clove garlic, crushed Sesame seeds, toasted Salt

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC fan assisted or 180ºC no fan. Mix the gochujang paste, tomato ketchup, honey and soy sauce in a medium bowl.
  2. Add the garlic, half a teaspoon of sesame seeds and a pinch of salt and mix through. Coat the sausages then spread out in oven dish or non-stick tray.
  3. Cook them for 20 minutes, tossing in the sauce halfway through to ensure they get a sticky coating all over. Allow the sausages to cool slightly before handling.
  4. Place a sausage in each roll and divide the Gourmet Slaw between them on top. Top with more toasted sesame seeds and dig in while they’re warm and sticky!
