Ingredients

Serves: 4

    • 1 bag of Florette Mixed salad
    • 2 packs of ready-made pizza dough or enough to make up 800g
    • 150ml passata
    • 2tbs tomato puree
    • ½ tsp mixed herbs
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • ½ tsp garlic powder
    • Salt and pepper
    • 240g mixed grated cheddar and mozzarella
    • 80g grated Parmesan
    • ½ tsp oregano or mixed herbs to sprinkle on top

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees.
  2. Coat the pan with a generous glug of oil or grease with butter. This helps create the crispy crust!
  3. Spread the dough out evenly in the pan. (With most ready-made pizza doughs there’s no need to leave them to prove but please check this on your packet!)
  4. Par-bake the pizza base for 5-7 minutes – remove from the oven just as it starts to colour.
  5. Line the edges and cover the top – edge-to-edge – with the Mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  6. Return to the oven for another 6-10 minutes until the edges have caramelised and darkened and the top is golden.  The pizza will pull away from the sides a little.
  7. In the meantime, mix all of the sauce ingredients in a pan over a medium heat and bring to a simmer.
  8. When the cheesy pizza base is golden and firm to the touch, remove from the oven and take it out of the tin, placing onto a wooden serving or shopping board.
  9. Ladle the warm pizza sauce over it in stripes.
  10. Finish with finely grated parmesan and a sprinkling of herbs before slicing and serving with our mixed salad.
  11. If you want to add other toppings to this pizza add them with the cheese then put the sauce over the top of everything; delicious!
